Space Exploration Technologies Corporation or SpaceX is a private aerospace company based out of Hawthorne California. SpaceX was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk after Musk found himself discontented with traditional rocket companies.
SpaceX currently has two Operational rockets and one in development. Falcon 9 is a semi reusable Human rated rocket and falcon heavy which is the words most powerful operational rocket. SpaceX also has Starship in development, a fully reusable interplanetary rocket.

Rocket Lab
Rocketlab is a public aerospace company founded in 2006 by Peter Beck. Rocketlab prides itself on being an “end-to-end space company delivering reliable launch services, spacecraft, satellite components, and on-orbit management”.
Rocketlab currently has one operational launch vehicle, Electron, which is a two-stage expendable system but they are currently developing Electrons to be semi-reuseable.
Rocketlab announced in March 2021 that they had a new rocket under development, Neutron. Neutron will be a medium-lift launch vehicle with a fully reusable first stage.

Blue Origin
Blue Origin was founded in the year 2000 by Jeff Bezos, with the vision of building the road to space. Blue Origin currently has one sub-orbital rocket designed for space tourism called the New Shepard, but they are currently working on a new heavy-lift launcher called New Glenn.

Astra Space
Astra is an American aerospace company founded in 2016 and based out of Alameda, California. Astra currently has one launch vehicle that was flight proven on 20 November 2021 where they successfully reached orbit carrying a demonstration payload for the US Department of Defence.
